On October 21st and 22nd, Baha’is all over the globe celebrated the Twin Holy Days of the Birth of the Báb and the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah. Our community prepared for these joyous events with a years long renovation process that included new flooring, paint, curtains and chairs throughout the center, new bathroom fixtures and cabinets, new landscape lighting and lettering on the street-facing sign, new displays of the Shrines of the Báb and Baha’u’llah, and the locations of continental Baha’i temples in the foyer, framed photos of the temples in the dining hall, and the piece-de-resistance: a beautiful nine-pointed star metal work designed by our own Diana Bates.
