The DREAM afterschool tutoring program was Initiated last year by Dawn Bastani. It has grown from one student to 20 creating a need for more volunteer tutors.

DREAM is an acronym for Developing Relationships and Empowerment through Academic Mentoring. The program provides free math and language tutoring for children, while creating a supportive community for their parents.

DREAM was recently featured in an article on the National Baha’i website. To read the article, click here.

Dawn hopes to expand the tutoring to include English Second Language (ESL) instruction and other subjects. Let’s hear it for Dawn and her team of volunteer tutors!
