Baha’is of the United States Elect National Spiritual Assembly

To the United States Bahá’í community

Beloved Friends,

While the coronavirus pandemic prevented us, for a second consecutive year, from gathering in person for what would have been the 113th United States Bahá’í National Convention, the election of the National Spiritual Assembly was carried out, nonetheless, in a sanctified and joyous atmosphere. Seven tellers, delegates themselves, met at the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette and, adhering to current advisements regarding health and safety protocols, carried out their responsibility of tallying the ballots received from all171 delegates and reporting the results of the election.

We are pleased to share with you that the following members of the US Bahá’í community―listed in descending order according to number of votes received―were elected:

  • Kenneth E. Bowers
  • Rabi Musah
  • Jacqueline Left Hand Bull
  • Kevin Trotter
  • David F. Young
  • Robert C. Henderson
  • Juana C. Conrad
  • Muin Afnani
  • Fariba Aghdasi

The election of officers will take place at a later date.

As we commence the One Year Plan with feelings of gratitude and eager anticipation, the National Spiritual Assembly will offer ardent prayers that the American Bahá’í community may advance to new heights of humble service, shiningthe light of Bahá’u’lláh’s Revelation in neighborhoods across the country and invitingour fellow countrymen to partake of His limitless spiritual bounties.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE BAHÁ’ÍS OF THE UNITED STATES
