Young Adult Weekend 2023!

February 17, 2023 - February 20, 2023

“If a small number of people gather lovingly together, with absolute purity and sanctity, with their hearts free of the world, experiencing the emotions of the Kingdom and the powerful magnetic forces of the Divine, and being at one in their happy fellowship, that gathering will exert its influence over all the earth.” – ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
About Young Adult Weekend

Young Adult Weekend’s mission is “to strengthen bonds of fellowship through the love of Bahá’u’lláh and to empower young people to achieve material and spiritual excellence.”

For 6 years, ~80-100 annual attendees from across North America and beyond have come together in joy and radiance, developing lasting bonds of friendship and heightening their collective understanding of what it means “to live a coherent life and be an agent of spiritual and social transformation” (Universal House of Justice, 5th December 2013).

The Program
In service of this goal, we’re putting together a program that we’re incredibly excited about centered on three core elements: a speaker series, interactive workshops and activities, and fellowship in beautiful, natural surroundings.

We’ve had a diverse array of Bahá’í professionals present and lead sessions over the years, including Shane Tedjarati, Holiday Reinhorn, Dan Makoski, Niki de Leon, Rainn Wilson, Dr. Nasrin Bashiri, and Justin and Emily Baldoni among many others.

To get a flavor for the spirit of the event, please watch this short film from 2017 and this one from 2016.

How to Register
  1. Complete our registration form.
  2. Pay our PayPal $235 (winter cabin) or $155 (dorm-style cabin).
  3. Receive a confirmation email (usually within a few days).
The event has generally sold out far in advance, and we’re already mostly booked per our usual target number. Register soon — don’t lose your spot!
We heard your feedback and booked a much nicer venue this year. It costs a lot more. Thankfully, generous individuals have enabled us to heavily subsidize, making it around the same price or even less than it was last year. If you can pay the true cost, we welcome that ($360 winter, $270 dorm).
