SUMMARY:Unit Convention
DESCRIPTION:The Unit Convention for Electoral Unit 159: San José\, Milpitas\, Campbell\, and Santa Clara\, will be held at the San José Baha’i Center on Sunday\, October 4\, 2026. \nBreakfast and registration will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. \nUnit Convention will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. \nBalloting will conclude at 11:00 a.m. to allow our tellers to tally the results. Lunch will be served. Children are\nwelcome. We will provide a special program for them so they can participate. \nUnit Convention is an opportunity to participate in two equally important tasks: one is to\nconsult on matters important to our community\, thereby assisting the person elected as\nour delegate to carry our message to the annual convention. The other is to elect this\ndelegate. \nThere will be special messages from our National Spiritual Assembly\, the Regional\nBaha’i Council\, one of our Auxiliary Board Members\, and Trustees for the Institution of Huququ’llah.\nWe will announce our delegate’s name after lunch. The convention will conclude at 2:30\np.m. \n“This Administrative Order is fundamentally different from anything that any\nProphet has previously established\, inasmuch as Bahá’u’lláh has Himself revealed\nits principles\, established its institutions\, appointed the person to interpret His\nWord and conferred the necessary authority on the body designed to supplement\nand apply His legislative ordinances.
