Special Day of Study for Spiritual Assemblies: Raising the Capacity for Administration

The Universal House of Justice writes in its December 30, 2021 message:

“Today, at the beginning of the second century of the Formative Age, the shape of Bahá’í administration has developed considerably, and its continued development will be essential for the release of the society-building power of the Faith. 

The administration of the Faith at the grassroots is, of course, intimately connected with the development of Local Spiritual Assemblies. These nascent Houses of Justice are described by Shoghi Effendi as “the chief sinews of Bahá’í society, as well as the ultimate foundation of its administrative structure”…”

In light of the above guidance and more than two years into this momentous Nine Year Plan, members of Local Spiritual Assemblies in Northern California will be gathering to study Raising the Capacity for Administration, reflect, and make plans for action.

Members of other relevant institutions and agencies (Regional Council Members, Regional Growth Facilitators, Regional Institute coordinators, Area Teaching Committees, cluster coordinators, collaborators, and assistants) will also be present to learn more about Assembly development alongside you.

This in-person gathering will take place on December 7, from 9am to 8pm at the San Jose Baha’i Center (945 Willow St, San Jose, CA 95125).
