Online: Reflections on the Healing of Racism – Session 34

November 18, 2022 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Race Amity Reflections

Please join us on the 3rd Friday of the month for reflections on the past and present of racism in America and the path to eradicating it.

Hosted by Bob Henderson, Paul De Neui and Maya Bohnhoff, this gathering is part of our ongoing series of Race Amity sessions, exploring our individual and collective ability to effect change by engaging in conversation and collaboration.

All are invited to join participants from all over the country—from California to New Mexico to Chicago to Florida as we explore how to be agents of positive change in the world we share.

“Racism, one of the most baneful and persistent evils, is a major barrier to peace. Its practice perpetrates too outrageous a violation of the dignity of human beings to be countenanced under any pretext. Racism retards the unfoldment of the boundless potentialities of its victims, corrupts its perpetrators, and blights human progress. Recognition of the oneness of mankind, implemented by appropriate legal measures, must be universally upheld if this problem is to be overcome.”

— The Universal House of Justice, The Promise of World Peace
