Workshop for Tutors: Reading

Dawn Bastani is spearheading an outreach effort in our community by organizing tutors in Math and Reading for elementary school-aged children to help them increase their proficiency and have more successful outcomes at school. We encourage anyone interested in participating in such an outreach effort to attend one or both of the workshops that Dawn is organizing. No experience in tutoring children is necessary. The workshops will provide training in this simple but rewarding task.

WORKSHOP 2 is for Reading Tutors. The focus will be on early grades (1^st – 4^th)

The Reading workshop will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 7:30 pm at the San Jose Baha’i Center

Please bring: Pencil, paper and colored pencils (if you have them)
